Basketball Game Preview: Eastern Alamance Eagles vs. Orange Panthers

Two dominant guards in Aliya Trollinger and Evelyn George are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Eastern Alamance Eagles and the Orange Panthers will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Eastern Alamance took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They breezed past Southern Alamance to the tune of 55-11. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Orange had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They blew past the Fighting Red Wolves 45-22.

Eastern Alamance's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points over those games. As for Orange, their win bumped their record up to 16-8.
