Football Recap: Fort Bend Clements Falls to Almeta Crawford in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Fort Bend Clements unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 64-7 loss at the hands of the Almeta Crawford Chargers. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

Trey Rivera threw for 121 yards on 12 of 20 attempts. Julius Gee was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards.

Braylen Fisher went supernova For Almeta Crawford., throwing for 245 yards and five TDs while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt. Alvin Mosley was in the mix too, providing the Chargers with three touchdowns.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Bend Clements will host Westside at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for Almeta Crawford, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Royal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
