Basketball Recap: Cinnaminson Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cinnaminson can now relate to. They fell to the Manchester Township Hawks 52-48. The Pirates were up 29-14 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Leading Manchester Township to victory were Madeline Nolan and Jesse Sarana. Nolan went 7-for-14 en route to 19 points and three steals, while Sarana shot 54% from the field to rack up 18 points. Nolan is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 19 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Marisiya Goins, who posted five points and four steals.

Cinnaminson's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Manchester Township, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-8.

As of now, neither Cinnaminson nor Manchester Township have any future games scheduled.
