Soccer Recap: Santee Comes Up Short

Santee and Diego Rivera pushed the score to 5-4 the last time they played Diego Rivera, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Huskies. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Santee came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Diego Rivera are ranked 206th).

Santee's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Diego Rivera, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
