Softball Game Preview: Trinity Hillers vs. Southmoreland Scotties

The Trinity Hillers will take on the Southmoreland Scotties at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Trinity came up short against Chartiers Valley and fell 7-4. The Hillers have struggled against the Colts recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Southmoreland didn't have quite enough to beat Mt. Pleasant last Thursday and fell 7-6. The Scotties have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southmoreland's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Trinity, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Everything went Trinity's way against Southmoreland when the teams last played back in May of 2015, as Trinity made off with a 10-1 win. Do the Hillers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Scotties turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
