Classical Prep skates past Solid Rock Community with ease

The Classical Prep Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Solid Rock Community, posting a 66-6 victory on the road. That 60 points margin sets a new team best for Classical Prep this season.
Classical Prep was led to victory by Mia Milanes and Kaelyn Malloy. Milanes dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds, while Malloy scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. That makes it six consecutive games in which Malloy has scored at least a third of Classical Prep's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Haley Zimmerman, who scored nine points along with six assists and five steals.
Classical Prep is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Solid Rock Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
Classical Prep won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Seven Rivers Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 26th. One thing working in Seven Rivers Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 12 matchups. Solid Rock Community will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Geneva Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 5th.
