Basketball Recap: Springtown Takes a Loss

Springtown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 80-41 loss at the hands of the Krum Bobcats. The Porcupines were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-15.

Springtown's loss dropped their record down to 9-22. As for Krum, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Coming up, Springtown will face off against Burkburnett at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Krum, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bobcats duke it out with the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
