Volleyball Recap: Kerry Gozur Key Part of Team Effort in Red Raiders Win + How To Watch

South Point won the last time they faced Forestview and things went their way on Thursday too. The Red Raiders were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jaguars.

South Point was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20, 25-14.

South Point's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kerry Gozur, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most digs Gozur has posted since back in September.

Forestview lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mattie Queen, who had ten digs and two assists.

South Point's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Forestview, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

South Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Forestview, they will head out on the road to challenge North Gaston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
