Soccer Recap: Apex Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Apex has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against the Holly Springs Golden Hawks on Wednesday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Apex can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Holly Springs are ranked 12th).

Apex's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-3. As for Holly Springs, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-1.

As of now, neither Apex nor the Golden Hawks have any future games scheduled.
