Baseball Game Preview: Grenada Chargers vs. Center Hill Mustangs

For the second straight game, Grenada will face off against Center Hill. The Chargers will square off against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grenada is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Grenada fell victim to Center Hill and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for the Chargers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Brayden Trusty spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Grenada saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Klinck, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Grenada moved to 13-8 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Center Hill, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
