Softball Recap: Yreka Comes Up Short

Yreka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Douglas Trojans.

Hadley Shaw made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Yreka's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Douglas, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Yreka didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-15 loss against Willamina on the 25th. As for Douglas, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lakeview at 12:00 p.m. on April 4.
