Basketball Recap: Carroll Takes a Loss

Carroll lost against Ray back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Carroll Tigers took a hard 77-61 fall against the Ray Texans.

Carroll has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-18 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Ray, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-10.

Carroll will head out to face off against Alice at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Alice has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Ray, they will host Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial will roll in looking for their 34th straight victory, something Ray surely won't give up without a fight.
