Woodrow Wilson is a perfect 9-0 against Cabrillo since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bruins will host the Jaguars at 5:00 p.m.

Woodrow Wilson is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest defeat since February 27th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Long Beach Poly. The Bruins have struggled against the Jackrabbits recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Long Beach Poly scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Cabrillo came into Tuesday's game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against Compton on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Jaguars not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th.

While Cabrillo won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15, 25-15.

Cabrillo's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Woodrow Wilson, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.

Woodrow Wilson beat Cabrillo 3-1 when the teams last played back in March. Will the Bruins repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
