If Palo Alto was feeling good off their 40-0 takedown of Oak Grove last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Palo Alto Vikings took a 31-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Christopher Cougars on Friday. The loss was the Vikings' first of the season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palo Alto will head out to challenge Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christopher, they will face off against Gilroy at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Christopher knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 point or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Gilroy likes a good challenge.
