Volleyball Game Preview: Kountze Lions vs. Orangefield Bobcats

Kountze hasn't had much luck against Orangefield recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kountze comes in on five and Orangefield on four.

It was a proper cat-fight when Kountze challenged Anahuac on Tuesday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers.

Kountze's got stronger as the match went on, holding Anahuac to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-16, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Orangefield got the win against East Chambers on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Kountze's win bumped their record up to 25-9. As for Orangefield, their victory bumped their record up to 18-19.
