Football Recap: Mimi Lannon's Menacing Defense Leads Saint Ignatius College Prep over Mother Mcauley

The Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack were able to grind out a solid win over the Mother McAuley Mighty Macs on Wednesday, taking the game 25-16. The Wolfpack's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Saint Ignatius College Prep's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. Mother McAuley's QB won't forget Mimi Lannon anytime soon given she sacked her three times. Caroline Cole got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Saint Ignatius College Prep has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 16 points this season. As for Mother McAuley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
