Volleyball Recap: Okemos Comes Up Short

Okemos was the 2-0 winner over Varsity Opponent when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves fell just short of Varsity Opponent by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Okemos saw an underclassman step up: freshman Gavin Freidhoff had 18 assists and three aces.

Okemos' loss dropped their record down to 10-9-2.

Okemos wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Grand Ledge on the 25th. As for Varsity Opponent, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against HomeSchool Resource Center on the 25th.
