Softball Recap: Crest Ridge Takes a Loss

Crest Ridge fell victim to Concordia and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Fighting Orioles by a score of 2-0. The Cougars have struggled against the Fighting Orioles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Crest Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Concordia, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crest Ridge will venture away from home to take on Adrian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blackhawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.64 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Concordia, they will face off against Tipton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Fighting Orioles are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
