Softball Recap: Mortimer Jordan Takes a Loss

Mortimer Jordan was the 4-0 winner over Chelsea when they last played one another back in May of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Devils lost 12-2 to the Hornets on Thursday. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mortimer Jordan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Liveoak, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that Liveoak snagged this season.

Mortimer Jordan now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Chelsea, they pushed their record up to 20-9-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Mortimer Jordan will take on McAdory at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chelsea, they will square off against Pelham at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
