Basketball Recap: Moses Brown Beats Tiverton for Their Third Straight Win

Moses Brown extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Otis Crosby. The Moses Brown Quakers blew past the Tiverton Tigers, posting a 63-36 victory thanks in part to Crosby, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. He has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last three times he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Mburu, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Tiverton lost on Wednesday, don't look at Caleb Purcell. Despite the final result, he had six points.

Moses Brown's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Tiverton, they dropped their record down to 2-19-1 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home.

Moses Brown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-57 victory against Woonsocket on the 13th. As for Tiverton, they will face off against Middletown at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
