Upper St. Clair entered their tilt with Mt. Lebanon on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 37-29 victory over the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Blue Devils are ranked 142nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Upper St. Clair pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Mt. Lebanon, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper St. Clair will venture away from home to challenge Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Central Catholic's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches. Mt.
