Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Fairless

Fairless came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sandy Valley Cardinals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Fairless was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-15.

Morgan Burdge was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Burdge wasn't the only good servers: Fairless was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive matchups.

Fairless' win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Sandy Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Looking ahead, Fairless will take on Union Local at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sandy Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
