It was fun while it lasted, but Kerens's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Thursday. They fell to the Wortham Bulldogs 67-62. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2016.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kerens fell to 3-1. As for Wortham, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Kerens Bobcats face off against the Scurry-Rosser Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wortham, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bishop Reicher Catholic at 12:45 p.m. on Friday. Wortham has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three contests.
