Meanwhile, Lakeland took care of business in their home opener on Friday (barely). They slipped by South Bend St. Joseph 21-20.
Lakeland can attribute much of their success to Brayden Holbrook, who threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns. Keyan Arroyo got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
