Volleyball Recap: Westbrook Christian Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Westbrook Christian can now relate to. They fell just short of the St. Luke's Episcopal Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Luke's Episcopal got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lauren Hill out in front who had four aces and four assists. Those four aces gave Hill a new career-high.

Westbrook Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 27-20. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Westbrook Christian nor St. Luke's Episcopal have any future games scheduled.
