Softball Recap: Kingston Has No Trouble Against Mayville

Kingston won the last time they faced Mayville and things went their way on Friday too. The Cardinals blew past the Wildcats 13-2. Considering the Cardinals have won seven contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kingston got a massive performance out of Grace McGarvie, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave McGarvie a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Madison Wylie, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

With the win, Kingston broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-10. As for Mayville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Kingston nor Mayville have any future games scheduled.
