Softball Recap: Hersey Takes a Loss

Hersey lost against Barrington back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Huskies came up short against the Fillies/Broncos, falling 13-5. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hersey's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Barrington, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 29-2-1.

Looking ahead, Hersey will look to defend their home field on Friday against Loyola Academy at 4:45 p.m. The Ramblers will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Barrington, they will square off against Lockport at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Fillies/Broncos 2.1, the Porters 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
