California Military Institute had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Desert Christian Academy Conquerors with a sharp 12-2 win. Considering the Rough Riders have won 11 games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

California Military Institute has also been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 51 goals over those nine matchups. As for Desert Christian Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-9-2.

Coincidentally, California Military Institute and Desert Christian Academy will both be playing Hamilton the next time they take the pitch. California Military Institute will head out to face Hamilton at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Desert Christian Academy will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
