Soccer Recap: Fort Lupton Takes a Loss

Fort Lupton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the Alameda Pirates. While losing is never fun, Fort Lupton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 221st, while Alameda are ranked 98th).

Fort Lupton's record is now 1-11. As for Alameda, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fort Lupton is set to square off against their familiar foe Arrupe Jesuit at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Alameda will take on rival Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
