Wayne is a perfect 4-0 against Twin River since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Titans at 4:30 p.m. Wayne is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Wayne fell victim to Platteview and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Blue Devils were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Twin River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 11-8 to Fairbury.

Eli Slizoski made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Braxten Fowler, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Twin River now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Wayne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Wayne has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Twin River struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Wayne came out on top in a nail-biter against Twin River when the teams last played back in April of 2023, sneaking past 2-0. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
