Volleyball Recap: Veritas School Wins Going Away Against the New Community School

Veritas School's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past The New Community School Sabers 3-0. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Sabers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14, 25-16.

Veritas School's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for The New Community School, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Veritas School will face off against Cristo Rey at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for The New Community School, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Banner Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th.
