Basketball Recap: Summit Leadership Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Cornerstone Christian

Summit Leadership Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their matchup on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 78-29 victory over the Cornerstone Christian Crusaders. The EAGLES have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 40 points or more this season.

Summit Leadership Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was DayDay Hilt, who posted 22 points. Hilt's afternoon made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Hughes, who scored 16 points.

Summit Leadership Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Cornerstone Christian and nudges their season record down to 5-13.

Summit Leadership Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 56-25 loss against Edgewood on the 14th. Cornerstone Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
