Softball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Riverside's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Neshannock Lancers on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Riverside and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Neshannock, the win keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Riverside is set to face off against their familiar foe Freedom Area at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Neshannock will challenge rival New Brighton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
