Baseball Recap: Calvary Chapel Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Calvary Chapel Academy can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Real Life Christian Academy Raptors as they made off with an 11-3 victory. The game marked the Eagles' most dominant win of the season.

Logan Hall and Sebastian Gerace did most of the damage at the plate: Hall scored three runs and stole two bases, while Gerace scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave Hall a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Conner Wolfe, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Calvary Chapel Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-15. As for Real Life Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Chapel Academy will face off against Merritt Island Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Real Life Christian Academy, they will square off against City of Life Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
