Football Recap: West Branch Takes a Loss

West Branch lost against Mount Union back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors were dealt a 48-6 defeat at the hands of the Trojans. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-6.

Payton Kephart threw for 65 yards while completing 80% of his passes. Justin Esposti was his top target, picking up 41 receiving yards. On the ground, Coby Kephart rushed for 79 yards.

West Branch's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mount Union, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
