Baseball Game Preview: San Marin Mustangs vs. Marin Catholic Wildcats

San Marin's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over Marin Catholic.

The result came thanks to Sean McGrath's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Hunter Uriarte, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Daniel Rolovich was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

San Marin pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Marin Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
