The Blue Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Hornets at 11:00 a.m. Dawson-Bryant took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Gallia Academy, who comes in off a win.

Gallia Academy's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Vinton County with a sharp 13-0 victory. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Dawson-Bryant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against South Point, falling 11-1.

Dawson-Bryant saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Schug, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Gallia Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-11-1. As for Dawson-Bryant, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Everything went Gallia Academy's way against Dawson-Bryant in their previous matchup back in April, as Gallia Academy made off with a 12-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
