Basketball Game Preview: Blair Bears vs. Norris Titans

Blair is 2-8 against Norris since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. Both will round out the year against one another at at 10:00 a.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Blair saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 38-31 to Gretna East.

Despite the loss, Blair saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Taytum Macholan posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Addie Sullivan, who earned seven points.

Meanwhile, Norris' game on Saturday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell to Bennington 47-42. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Badgers are ranked ninth).

Norris moved to 3-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Blair, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Blair suffered a grim 58-38 defeat to Norris in their previous matchup back in February. Can Blair avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
