With a playoff win on the line, Wayland rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Longmeadow Lancers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Wayland never let Longmeadow on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 27-25, 25-21.

Longmeadow's loss came despite strong showings from Claire Taylor and Tess Tonsing. Taylor had 12 digs and one assist, while Tonsing had five digs and two assists.

Wayland's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Longmeadow, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 23-4 record.

Wayland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Oliver Ames on the 15th. Longmeadow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
