Lakeland Christian not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 21st (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Excel Christian Academy Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

While Lakeland Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-9, 25-10.

Lily Kettler paced Lakeland Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Kettler got some help from LaVon Pozar and her 12 assists. Lillian Spence controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Lakeland Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Excel Christian Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Lakeland Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Tampa Bay HEAT on the 9th. Excel Christian Academy has also already played their next contest (against Florida College Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
