Baseball Recap: Mayfield Wildcats vs. Hudson Explorers
Mayfield couldn't beat Hudson on Monday even though they stacked five runs on them in the first inning. The Wildcats lost 13-6 to the Explorers. The Wildcats have struggled against the Explorers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Mayfield got a good showing from Andrew Rigelsky, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
On the hitting side, Mayfield saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Brunello, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI. That RBI was Brunello's first of the season.
