Basketball Recap: Luxemburg-Casco Takes a Loss

Luxemburg-Casco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 62-33 loss at the hands of the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes. The match marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Luxemburg-Casco's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Luxemburg-Casco and Fox Valley Lutheran could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Luxemburg-Casco (ranked 352nd) will meet Fox Valley Lutheran (ranked 85th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Fox Valley Lutheran will take on Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 72 places (85 vs. 13).
