Baseball Recap: Hampton County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Whale Branch two weeks ago, Hampton County came back down to earth. The Hurricanes came up short against the Bridges Prep Buccaneers on Tuesday, falling 19-0. The Hurricanes have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Hampton County's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Bridges Prep, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Bridges Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 win against Lowcountry Leadership on the 16th. Hopefully Hampton County paid attention to the Buccaneers' game: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
