Volleyball Recap: Central Beats Lincoln Park Academy for Their Fourth Straight Win

Central extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Alexis Clements. The Cobras came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Lincoln Park Academy Greyhounds for which the team can thank Clements, who had eight aces and seven digs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Central who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 24-26, 25-13, 25-27, 15-8.

Central now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Lincoln Park Academy, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Central will head out to square off against Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln Park Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
