Basketball Recap: New Haven Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Owensville, New Haven was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 27-25 victory over the Montgomery County Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-34 back in December of 2024.

New Haven now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Montgomery County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-9.

New Haven has already played their next contest (against Liberty), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Montgomery County will challenge Van-Far at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Montgomery County is facing Van-Far at the right time seeing as Van-Far is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
