Basketball Recap: White Cloud Takes a Loss

White Cloud was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 50-40 to the Shelby Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 499th, while the Tigers are ranked 139th).

White Cloud's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Shelby, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

Looking ahead, White Cloud will face off against Lakeview at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Shelby, they will take on Holton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Shelby's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Holton's offense will have their work cut out for them.
