Volleyball Recap: Oakwood Christian Takes a Loss

Oakwood Christian lost against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Oakwood Christian sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-21, 22-25, 15-8.

Oakwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-9.

Oakwood Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Ringgold on the 28th. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Northwest Whitfield on the 28th.
