Royal lost to Oak Park back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Royal Highlanders walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Oak Park Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Highlanders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Royal had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-17, 27-25, 25-17.

Royal's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. As for Oak Park, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Coming up, Royal will challenge Camarillo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Park, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Oak Park Eagles take on Laguna Blanca Owls on Saturday.
