Football Recap: La Canada Piles Up the Points Against Ramona Convent

There's no place like home for La Canada, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They took their contest on Saturday with ease, bagging a 34-0 victory over the Ramona Convent Tigers. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Spartans' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Gretchen Louie went supernova, throwing for 169 yards and four TDs, while also rushing for 39 yards and one score. That's the most passing touchdowns she has posted since back in September of 2024.

La Canada didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Sahana Garg led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

The win got La Canada back to even at 2-2. As for Ramona Convent, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.
