2A Conference 13 recap September 10, 2013
First Flight moved up to 188 from 255 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 2A Conference 13. The Night Hawks were able to make move up by besting Manteo 13-12.
Currituck County was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fourth to second in the league. The Knights defeated Gates County 38-8 earlier in the week.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Currituck County takes on First Flight. John Wheeler's team is in second place, while Jim Prince's team is in fifth place.
The Night Hawks and the Redskins played the most contested game in 2A Conference 13 this week, with the Night Hawks eventually emerging with a 13-12 victory. Wyatt Robertson ran for 114 yards in the win.
